The album was written from experiences like the birth of the bands first child and the passing of other beloved family members. The music speaks of the cycles of time and the renewed hope of the new day with each sunrise.

Gary Randal is a singer-songwrier with a acidic take on the world, with one important exception: his granddaughter Beans. The title song lays it out there with an embedded line of promise, "I'd do anything for you." Randal's path between Prine and jazz influences keeps you on your toes. With supporting performances by Jorge Santamaria on drums, Paul Pearce guitar, Jack Byrne bass, Caroline Vain violin, and Carlos Chafin producing and on keys, Gary's vocal gets the backing it deserves.
